Wii Music released in Japan today.

So, using certain, uhh... methods... I've been playing Wii Music (JPN) for the past hour or so, and I have to say, it's pretty cool. I've been "playing" guitar the most. My lack of a Balance Board makes me not want to "play" the drums, since, well, I can't bass pedal without.

Wii Music was definitely one of the more interesting titles Nintendo formally revealed at E3, probably second only to Animal Crossing. Although, I'm fairly inept concerning any information pertaining to it. Exactly how many instruments and such can you control, and what seems to have the most solid scheme?

How many instruments? Even I have no idea. You unlock more instruments as you play the game, so I can't really say. However, the "cosplay instruments" are hilarious.

There are a ridiculous number and types of instruments, that's for sure.

What has the most solid scheme? It really depends. I've enjoyed playing Piano and Guitar TBQH, however, the Clap/Snap/Stomp "instrument" is also pretty fun to screw around with.

I lol'd hard when I got the cheerleader uniform "instrument" as well as the Cat and Dog costume "instruments."

Also, drums are ridiculously hard to work with IMO (but again, I lack balance board, so I lack Bass pedal.)

I simply adore the fact that by pushing the analog stick on the Nunchuk, you can "whammy" the Guitar.
