Now today we had a "Chalk Talk" where it felt like I was on a forum of sorts with all of the kids in my History class wrote how they feel on this subject. I went with the obvious maybe, since it could be rigged, but of course, this one wasn't. My paragraph[s] went something like this;
"Not really. Because unless they can clearly specify how they go through the process, there's no real way of saying that it is or is not rigged. Now, don't get me wrong, it seems like the system is working pretty great, but honestly, I would just let the popular vote win this and move on. The need to filter it though another set of people goes over my head."
And then someone replied to me, saying that it works great, and how the majority vote should normally be followed by the E.C.
"BUT! As ***.****** had said in an earlier class, the E.C. people could very well go against what they've been selected for and vote for the other choices."
And then my teacher called time.
So yeah, I've decided that this should be something equally as interesting as the Election '08 topic.
Opinions please?
I have to be honest, I really don't know what your getting at.
Can you rephrase it better perhaps? Maybe then I might be able to put my voice into this.

Time for Wikipedia to save the day.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electoral_Col...(United_States)We were wondering if that system worked. The teacher had us make a debate of sorts, but in total silence and we could only write on the whiteboard.
