So like, since I'm in the top 10% of my class (Everyone including me is convinced it's computer error.) I get a prize of my choice for my parents. And as we all know, I'm in dire need of new games.

So here's my list.

Animal Crossing: City Folk
Mario Kart Wii
Sonic Unleashed (Xbox 360 Version)
Pokemon Platinum (Import)
Fire Emblem Wii
Oblivion

I can only pick one of those. Which one should I pick? I think I'll get Sonic Unleashed, since that's what's really got my attention now. But what's Topia think?

Definitely Animal Crossing: City Folk. It has wifi, wiispeak, and good gameplay.

MKWii is the worst of the series.
Sonic Unleashed has been predicted by many official game sites to fail. Hard.
Pokemon Platinum will just have a couple extra sidequests/pokemon. (always happens with a 3rd pokemon game.) Wait for translated version.
Fire Emblem is ok, but just ok. ACCF has it beat with wifi and wiispeak.
Oblivion....no. Just......no.

Animal Crossing: City Folk: My sisters got it and it really isn't that different from the originals. Sure theirs a city and a tiny bit new features, but that's all.

Mario Kart Wii: Worst MK game easily. I returned it a couple weeks after I got it.

Sonic Unleashed (Xbox 360 Version): Sonic Unleashed looks good but only the day parts. Werehog looks stupid.

Pokemon Platinum (Import): Eh, just wait for it. Not a whole lot different from D/P.

Fire Emblem Wii: Never played it, so I'm not sure.

Oblivion: I think you should get this one. It's amazing and you could spend years playing this game and never do everything. Also, if you get xbox live you can buy the expansion packs to it and get even more out of it.

Oblivion or Pokemon, no question. You could spend the next couple of months on either. Since you probably don't want the japanese version then Oblivion is the clear choise. /topic

Yes but anybody that has been following the games already expected this. It's the emerald of the DP series, battle frontier, more legends in one game, slight changes, new clothes, you get the deal. Get Oblivion if you can wait for Pokemon, amazing game.

Sonic Unleashed is horrible, as much I hate to say it. Only half the game is actually good while the other half is Werehog faggotry. The new Animal Crossing is a pretty much more of the same with that gay new Wiispeak thing. Oblivion has won numerous awards and you will spend months on it, the choice is clear IMO.

Sonic Unleashed seems like the worst of those options, imo.

If you don't mind the same bare mechanics of Animal Crossing for a third time, then I see no reason to get that. I would say something about Oblivion, but I never played it myself.

Depends on which needs more activity. I would get it on 360, but that's me.

I got it for 360, the controls aren't as big of a deal as I thought they would be.

Wii has great controls, side objectives, and downloadable content (like teh protomanz!!!)

360 has achievements and I believe the downloadable content. (PROTOMANZ!!!)

But I chose Wii. I like it's version.

Get Valkyria Chronicles or Mirror's Edge. If you don't have taste and stick to teh list get Fiyah Emblem10
