Filthy little pessimistic Scott.

Just like how I love 'em.

Alcohol is always best full though.

It depends if you are filling or draining said glass, and if you are commenting on how fast one is draining or emptying it. For example, if I were to say "Its been an hour and its still half full," that would connote a pessimistic outlook on the task at hand. However, if I were to say "Its been an hour and its already half empty," I would be giving off an optimistic connotation.

If one is draining something, I usually go with half empty, but if one is filling something, I'll say half full.

I'm on the side of homes a little.

when i have a single pint of milk and i chug half of it i go "aww there's only half left"

but when i have a huge drink that i want to finish and its halfway i go "Jesus Christs it's still half full?"

Half-Empty if it's something i like.

Half-full if it's something i don't like.

By the way wrong date. Monday was the 12th
