I was just looking through a guide, when I got sidetracked on the actual site, and I found this baby.

I'm still reading it, but I find it really fascinating to see how one of my *new* favorite series came to be. What do you guys think?

I thought it was a long but interesting read. Nice find.

The only Final Fantasy game I've played is Final Fantasy VII which I just bought like two weeks ago on PSN. Yes, it was my first time playing it in 2009. Sue me.

I'm currently saving up money to go to Gamestop and just go pick up a crap load of PS2 games. Including Final Fantasy X, X-2, XII, Shadow of Collosus, and the Shin Megami Tensei games (Digital Devil Saga, Nocturne, and Persona 4).

FFXII = KH2 pretty much. I didn't like the fact you can mash X for most of the game.

I would wait for FFXIII, imho. Get another Final Fantasy game, like IX or something.

Final Fantasy Versus XIII > Final Fantasy XIII. Well that's just my opinion. I'm tons more interested in Versus than I am in regular 13. Buuuut... seeing as how Versus hardly ever gets news I doubt it will be out until 2011. Hell I don't expect gameplay of it until FFXIII is close to being out/already out.
