Title: Chat Box

Jednite - April 5, 2008 09:52 PM (GMT)
I don't know how many posts there ahve been suggesting this(i havent been here in almost a year), but I remember back when the newest pokemon games came out for the ds, the chat box at the bottom was the best thing on any site, which is why I chose this one. It allowed me to quickly and instantly talk to people for help or ask someone to battle me, no matter what page I was on. Then it was moved to its own forum, and no one was ever on, because one of the conviniences of it before was that you could see it from any page, allowing you to go on about your topia business while chatting for help or a match.

I think since super smash bros has recently been released this would be great to consider adding again soon.

thanks

Well, it would be annoying and cause lag for some people. Just open another tab.

it really doesnt cause that much lag, and people, such as myself, are to lazy to make a new tab, and that means constantly checking over to an active message box, rather than checking up the forums for a not so active, and i just know that even at other websties that use the same chatbox we once had, at the bottom of their page(well out of the way, and not annoying at all) still have a lot of actives in there chat box, and i end up going there for help and i dont get much of it since im not registered or known.(not that im really known by anyone here, unless your from the pokemon diamond/pearl era)

It takes less energy and travel time to switch tabs than to refresh or scroll to the bottom of the screen.

i know, but you dont have to refresh and thats besides the point, i mean if you go to any site, you will see that there is clearly a lot more active people on both forums and chat rooms when the chat box is at the bottom.

this is just a suggestion, im not looking for an arguement or debate as to why we should have one, i just miss it, and miss the help and friends i made from it.

Thats what you should do.

If we put into its own little tab we must have done that for a reason. Besides it looks better when its hidden.
