If you have 0 posts, you cannot make topics, and are placed in the Newcomer Membergroup. If you post in a previously made topic, this will raise your post count to 1, and you'll be automatically promoted to "Member", granting permission to make topics in designated forums.

This is meant to filter spam-bots, who never reply in topics, but only make topics. This is a necessity to keep our boards bot-free, please excuse this.
