Title: Manga thread! What're you reading?

Double Oh Seven - July 31, 2008 03:36 AM (GMT)
Go away anime gurus, this thread is only for those who read the print.

Recently I've been getting back into Eyeshield21, a football sports manga which is, in my opinion, the best sports manga ever. I guess its part because it doesn't have too many boring anime cliches (unlike many animes these days) and it is fairly original in its execution.

Another series I just started and am looking forward to continuing is Hikaru No Go. If you know what it is I don't have to explain it, and if you don't, you probably aren't reading this right now.

As for failed experiments, I have started the Bleach manga, gotten a few volumes in, and to be quite honest, I've lost interest. I've got other things to spend my money on, and Bleach manga is at the bottom of my list. I guess it just can't hold my fancy. :mmmrph:

So thats what I've been reading lately. Are you currently reading Eyeshield 21 or Hikaru No Go or are you reading something else? Lets hear it. :what?!!:

I started Eyeshield 21 recently, and just stopped at around ten chapters or so. Didn't catch my interest, apparently.

Hikaru No Go was, and still is epic. I remember finishing the last half of the entire series, in two days. It was that great.

I've been reading a lot more manga than I have been watching anime... <_<;;

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!
One Piece
Fairy Tail
Doubt
Yume de Aetara
Liar Game
Silvery Crow
Double Arts

and a couple more that I'm too lazy to list.

I knew that dress thing was peculiar. Damnit, the Japanese seriously need to better distinguish their genders. Eh. Double Arts? I'll check into it.
