We all love video games, after all, that is what this site is about. (That and graphics) So it struck me odd that we have not done anything like what I am about to suggest before.

I was thinking about a way that Topians could really get together and discuss and play games. We have the fun nights, but not everyone can make it to those. So that hardly seems sufficient. So my suggestion is, why not have a segment in Topia called 'Topia: Play Along' (Or something along those lines).

What it would consist of is this: We would all vote on common game that we could all play, be it an adventure or a platformer or whatever, something easily accessible to anyone. After choosing, we would all get our hands on our own copies set a date to begin playing. Everyone would play a few hours of the game on their own time, or with another Topian live in the chatroom.

During all of this, we would get together every once in ahwile and discuss how far we have gotten, what we are up to in the game, etc. We could put together a little discussion. If there was one person that is stuck at a certain point, we can offer advice. If there was a particular cutscene a few people enjoyed, we could delve into it and talk about it.

Playing a game alongside each other, in my opinion, would be a good experience for all of us to participate in together. So, what do you guys think? Does this sound like a pretty cool idea that you would like to do?

It would probably best to have an online PC game that is easily acquired.

No, but maybe an online game for... 360? But then that would mean a new 360 for me. Or my dad to be talked into calling Xbox and resetting Parental controls.

We don't need to worry about that stuff yet. I am just curious if people are at all interested.

Sounds like it could be lots of fun if we actually got lots of people to participate.
