Since the topic of clipping masks was taken care of, you shouldn't worry too much about layer masks now. They should be handled much later on, but not now.

Wente - August 14, 2008 08:49 PM (GMT)
wtf is a layer mask?

Demonater - August 14, 2008 10:02 PM (GMT)
I made a clipping mask. But it didn't do anything. It just made my picture disappear!

Wente - August 15, 2008 12:14 AM (GMT)
put on your brush/text, hide it make a new layer go to edit apply image. then press Ctrl+Alt+G and then unhide your layer. now move around you clipping mask. Make sure the is NO layers above these until after or else i believe they will dissappear.

I have Mac. There is no APPLY IMAGE. I need Dachef's help. He has a Mac.

Dachef - August 15, 2008 07:11 PM (GMT)
Yea there is. It should be under image or edit or something. Or you could just hit Ctrl+Alt+Cmnd+E on a new layer.

Wente - August 15, 2008 08:41 PM (GMT)
