No, you cant advertise your site, only your Member forum, clan, and or club.

Seems interesting, though. Where one can gain posting privileges in an exclusive board through method of purchase, or posting rank, and advertise whatever forum they wish. Of course, it'll have to be monitored heavily in case of abuse. Possibly a one-topic per user rule.

You know, you can always advertise in your sig. That is what many people do. Just make it simple and clean.

Usually, I stay away from those kinds of advertisements, tbqh. I can only imagine this applies to others in addition to me as well, which should only give an idea how effective it really is.

The idea I had in mind, extending off of his was an exclusive board, made for the sole purpose of showcasing one's forum. Such an opportunity might actually motivate users to come and become an active part of the community, in order to someday promote their forum.

Mine isn't active because nobody knows about it!
