At 3:00am this morning the Twin cooling towers in sheffield (uk) were demolished for a new power plant, The towers stud for over 70 years and was originaly in a set of 7 but as sheffield developed itonly left 2. If u live in the uk you will know that the biggest shopping centre is meadowhall in sheffield but not even this topped the land mark of the cooling towers. Strangly a load of people came from there beds and watched the demo, (Even my friends were there, i wasnt i were in bed lol) so here is a link for more.
