...Finished Braid this morning. Yeah...Braid took me like 2 hours to beat, pretty short game but it was beyond amazing. The gameplay was enough to keep me going, the way time is utilized in the platforming is flawless and all the puzzles are just amazingly well done. Needless to say Braid requires you to think so don't buy it if you hate that sort of thing but what just perfects Braid is its abstract story. The plot twist at the end just makes the whole experience just mind-blowing when you find out that Tim is
The villain chasing the princesss instead of going to save her
. The twist itself is good but how the devs executed it is what blew my mind. That is just scratching the surface of this story, nearly everything in the game is symbolic and connecting to a much bigger story. I won't spoil the story in detail but it's enough reason to get this game. Also the graphics are stunning to say the least, you're probably wondering how good a 2D game could look well Braid looks just plain amazing on my 46'' HDTV. This game was made for HD and the detail combined with the awesome art style makes this game one of the better looking titles around. This is possibly the best game I've played this gen, if only it lasted longer.
9.8/10 Amazing game, worth the 15 dollars.
Bought Braid recently as well. I don't think it's nearly as amazing as you make it out to be, but it's still fun. :|

You probably didn't understand it.
Yep, I totally agree with you. It almost seems like this game, not a game, but art. It's that good.
Also, check
this out. It goes in to detail about the music and graphics.
