Title: Lock-Crazy

Just something that generally irks me is when topics are closed for seemingly no reason before I can get a word in (ie, the topic about my warn level). To me it seems as if a mod power is being used just to use a mod power. I guess I could PM the whoever I wanted to reply to my response, but A. Its not a private matter, and B. Its just plain not as fun.

BUT ANYWAY:

I now figured out I can check why I was warned in my profile, though its not all that helpful. "Cursing at topians for no reason" is straight bullshit; I thought it was obvious I was joking but apparently not. My second reason for being warned simply states "Spam," and I don't recall spamming ever, so looking at the elapsed time between the warnings I'm going to assume it was a second warning for "Cursing for no reason." So if I have a reason I'm allowed to tell someone to shut the fuck up? This is vaguer than 1st Amendment plea court rulings.

I guess this would go better in some sort of rant board, but seeing as the Serious Sofa gets about one reply a week while the spam board flourishes, and the fact that this is not really a serious issue, just one that kinda pisses me off, I'm putting this here.

And this is the guy they were debating giving Member of the Month to at this so called Legendary Board? My Christ. I'm deeply sorry that I'm posting a general grievance in the suggestions board.

But reading it again, I guess I kinda come off as more of an asshole than I actually am, so I apologize on that note. I've been in horrible mood the past two days.

I haven't been kept up on how the staff has been enforcing our rules, so I can't say I'm particularly well informed. Please IM me and I'm sure a compromise can be arranged.

Once I get the chance, I'll be sure to look into how we can better improve our moderating ability.
