apparently, Nintendo has begun shipping remote jackets with the newer Wii consoles. for those of us who have had our Wii consoles since before this development, Nintendo is offering to ship out up to 4 free remote jackets, to players in the U.S. and Canada. all you have to do is fill out the form on the following page:

http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/jacket/jacketrequest.jsp

make sure to have your Wii console's serial number ready, as it is required information.

Haha, I had taken advantage of this some time ago. Keep in mind the delivery is fairly slow. I had placed an order for two jackets sometime last November, and only received them come Christmas morning.

Then again, it's free, so no complaining there.

I got my Wii last Christmas. It came with a jacket, but can I still get 3 others?

not sure. i assume they cross-check the serial number to see whether or not the console shipped with them or not. so, they may not let you get more. can't hurt to try, though! if you do try, let us know whether or not they let you, please!
